Well, hello there…

Welcome to my blog! My name is Amy. I’m the gal behind the crochet hook and I’m so glad you are here. A little about me…I’m a Navy wife, mom to 6 amazing kids and Grandma to 1 beautiful, slightly spoiled granddaughter. I am a homeschooler, adventure seeker, animal lover, coffee drinker, crafting enthusiast and I love all things Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
I’ve only been crocheting for about 2 years, but it is something I have always wanted to learn to do. I grew up watching my Grandma make the most amazing things out of a ball or two of yarn and I’m hoping to honor her with the work I do. It has taken some time, but I’m finally getting the hang of it and I absolutely LOVE it! One could even say that I’m hooked! 😊 I also love to sew; make beaded jewelry and I want to learn to work with resin and wood as well. I am really hoping to share my creative gifts with all of you as I grow my blog and my store. We are just getting started here at The Blue Daisy and there will be so much more fun to come.
